Arrival:

Check-in takes place at the reception upon arrival. When checking in, you will receive a key to the cabin and/or a Gålö card for the barrier and service building. These must be returned upon check-out. If they are not returned, you will be charged SEK 50 per unreturned/lost card and SEK 500 per lost key. Identification is required upon check-in. Gålö Havsbad is an Svensk Camping-affiliated campsite.

Show Consideration:

We assume that all guests show consideration for each other and help to keep things tidy. The staff have an obligation to act in cases where a guest does not respect these simple and obvious house rules. Guests who act disruptively and/or do not follow the house rules may be evicted.

It must be quiet between 23:00 and 7:00. If this is not respected, you may be liable to pay compensation to a guest whose stay is deemed to have been ruined. You may also be liable for the cost of emergency call-out.

Special events arranged by or in consultation with Gålö Havsbad may have different closing times.

Motor Vehicles:

Do not disturb the peace in the area with motor vehicles more than absolutely necessary. Drive at walking speed and for as short distances as possible. Driving is not permitted between 23:00 and 7:00. Motor vehicle traffic is only permitted between the area's entrance and your own pitch/accommodation.

Washing of cars, caravans, or motorhomes is not permitted within the Gålö Havsbad area.

Visitors:

Temporary visitors are requested to park their car in the parking lot outside the Gålö Havsbad area and must report to the reception.

It is not permitted for people who are not checked-in guests to stay within the camping and cottage village area, or its service buildings. If this is not respected, these persons will be evicted individually or together with the checked-in guest they are accompanying.

Common Areas:

Leave toilets, kitchens, and other common areas in the same condition as you found them.

Responsibility:

The staff are not responsible for damage to or loss of guest's belongings. Should damage or theft occur at the campsite to materials or other guests' belongings, this will be compensated by the person causing the damage. Your own insurance applies.

Anyone who damages buildings, materials, or guest's belongings can be held liable for compensation; this also applies if you disturb other guests to the extent that they demand compensation for a ruined stay.

Upon check-in, you receive a key/card. It is not permitted to let other people into the area with your key/card through the entrance barrier or into buildings. A fee will be charged for lost keys/cards.

Guests do not have the right to lend, rent out, or transfer their unit/pitch.

Safety and Environment:

Fire Safety:

Open fires on the ground are prohibited; use your own grill or the public barbecue areas. Caravans, motorhomes, and tents must maintain the recommended safety distance of at least 4 meters.

Electric Car Charging:

Must take place in the designated area. It is strictly forbidden to charge your plug-in hybrid/electric car in any other of Gålö Havsbad's electrical outlets. This applies to both outdoor and indoor outlets. Failure to comply will result in a penalty fee of SEK 5,000.

Waste Management:

Help us keep the area clean and litter-free. Use the waste containers according to instructions.

You may not dispose of bulky waste, non-combustible items, packaging, and suchlike with us but must take them to the municipality's recycling station. Do not place rubbish outside the bins. Remember not to throw glowing barbecue coals or other flammable objects into our rubbish bins; use the designated container.

Pets:

Dog owners are asked to show the utmost consideration for other guests. Keep dogs on a short leash and walk them outside the area. Dogs must always be kept on a leash in the nature reserve and may only swim at the dog bathing area.

It is forbidden to have pets in the service houses, reception, bistro and some of the cabins. If the pet ban is not respected, a cleaning fee of a minimum of SEK 3,000 will be charged.

Smoking:

Smoking is prohibited in all cabins and all common areas. If the smoking ban is not respected, a cleaning fee of a minimum of SEK 3,000 will be charged.

Play and Ball Games:

Only allowed on specially arranged courts, not among tents and caravans. Help children find suitable places for play and ball games. There is a playground and football pitch in the area. Throwing or kicking a ball among tents, caravans, or cabins is not permitted. Trampolines, pools, and other fixed arrangements are not permitted.


Disturbances:

Staff are responsible for peace and order and will assist if problems arise. If you are disturbed outside of reception opening hours or need to call staff in an emergency, please call our on-call number: +468 500 338 89.

Other:

Sales:

All sales within the area require permission from Gålö Havsbad.

Cabins:

For hygiene reasons, bed linen must be used in all beds. Bed linen and towels can be rented at the time of booking or at the reception. A fee will be charged for non-compliance.

Camping:

Motorhomes, caravans, and tents may only be placed on marked plots. Tents may also be placed in the area marked for tents.

It is only permitted to have one accommodation unit per pitch.

Equipment:

Connection to our electricity posts may only be done with an approved electric cable with a minimum of 3 x 2.5 mm² conductors. If the cable is on a reel, the entire cable must be unrolled to avoid overheating. The electric cable between the electricity post and the caravan should not be longer than 25 meters.

Ensure that gas and electrical equipment is tested and approved according to current regulations.

Vehicles must be registered and approved according to current regulations, taxed, and have at least third-party liability insurance.
