About Edith

Here you can also find out lots of exciting stories about Edith, who was homeless in Stockholm in the 19th century and had to move here to Gålö. Read her letter to find out more.

Educational materials for schools

The Archipelago Foundation wants children and young people to discover, experience and take part in the unique archipelago and to understand that it is something that belongs to everyone and that we all have to care about.

The training site consists of a nature trail with various activities. Visit the archipelago for a day with the students and then work on experiences, discoveries and insights at the school after the visit.

Vi spenderade två dagar på Gålö på konferens i extrem värme, men vi hade en riktigt bra upplevelse! Jättefina vandringsleder och omgivningar, god mat och trevligt boende 👌

Var där på klassresa med sonens klass. Luxuöst, Lugnt och tyst. Stugorna vi hyrde var väldigt fräscha och utrustade med allt man behövde. Känslan av att här vill jag stanna, när man steg in i stugorna var påtaglig. Suveränt.
